I really had a lovely 26th birthday. The stream of facebook notifications, cards, emails, and hugs at work made me feel special and I am 100% sure this will be a great year all around.
I also came home to a bouquet of flowers from my Uncle and Aunt, a nice splash of color during the latest polar vortex. 
The Random:
Noam "signed" my birthday card "have a candy birthday" - best 3 year old greeting ever.
Which was then followed up the two funniest videos of Avi trying to get Noam to say happy birthday to me. Instead he wished a polar bear and Ronan a happy b-day - pretty funny!
The Fun (and tasty):
I had some close friends over for shabbat dinner and cake, it's all about the cake, right? I elevated my usual go to poppy seed cake by making a two layer cake, with raspberry jam in between the layers and coconut whipped cream on top.
Icing on a great day indeed.
