The Good. The Random. The Fun. v.1.5

The Good:
I used the smart board this week for a few good lessons. Trying to mix it up more lately and find fun and different ways to teach the kiddos multiplication. It's working because we've all mastered our 0, 1, 2, 5, 9, and 10s!

The Random:
I hate to sneeze. Mainly because it hurts as a result of my nasal reconstruction and my deviated septum (tmi?) - anyway...I sneezed this week...as I was merging onto the highway...at rush hour...now I really hate sneezing!

A germ-free random: shelling pistachios is hard work, but it makes eating them more worth it!

The Fun:
I finally hit the slopes last weekend! First time since last winter and it felt great to be back out there getting my "snow" legs back. Perfect conditions and now I am itching to go again!

I love that you talk about sneezing. I sort of like it if I'm alone. :)

Those Smart Boards are cool. Snowboarding looks like it would be so much more fun than skiing - if only I had younger knees.

I love that smart board! How cool! And way to go kiddos! I hate sneezing while driving too, kind of scary. Hope you had fun snowboarding! Looks so fun!

Sneezing while driving is the WORST!! Those pistachios look yummy! They are a lot of work but so good.
The slopes look amazing!

Okay - I love the smart board - wish I had one here in the house. Our big white board is fought over by all the kids.

I agree with you on the pistachios - hard work but so worth it.

Great week Tamar - so glad you were able to hit the slopes.

Pistachios! My favorite. When I was at Penn State (in another century, haha)....I had a girl who lived on my floor from Iran. Whenever she would fly home, she would bring back a PILLOW CASE FULL of pistachios from Iran. I still remember us all sitting around eating them in the dorm.

Tamar! (btw, I loved your Superbowl pics on IG! )

You'll need to come to Utah some time; for the "greatest snow on earth" {old branding tag line here for years. lol}

I HATE shelling pistachios! I buy them already shelled in a bulk section at Winco for ...$11 / lb. I treat them like gold, believe me.

I'll be doing a Breast Cancer update each tuesday so ya, but I am feeling fine, really. Once the treatments and stuff start to begin the fight is when I will probably be feeling cruddy. PINK POWER ROCKS!

I bet you are a super cool teacher!

I love pistachios, but I can't peel a bunch and then eat them. I have to eat as I peel. :)

Glad you got to go skiing!

Have a great week!

So great you got to hit the slopes. It does feel good to get back out thee. I wish we had more time to go more often and more snow! Not the best ski season here this year. Such fun shots and such a fun way to teach math. You rock!

I'm so behind, I'm just now seeing this. Love it. Don't know if I'll make it for this week, but I'll certainly be back to join in next week!
