I flew out for an amazing whirlwind 27ish hours in Las Vegas for a very special bar mitzvah. It was a fast and furious, but it was good to get away for such a fun event mid-week, a marathon mini-vacation of sorts!
The Random:
I broke down and got timehop. I had fun seeing this pop up earlier in the week. My trademark photo is 7 years old!
The Fun:
Fractions are SO fun, right? Well they are in my class. Week one into our fraction unit and I have fraction experts. We've learned while playing fraction bingo, exploring the fractions in our names, using fraction circles to create fractions from dominoes, playing dominoes, and more!

Oh my! That mid-week break looks fantastic! And fractions do look like fun in your class! Have a beautiful week!
ReplyDeleteLots of great pics, Tamar. Hey, maybe next time your in Las Vegas you can do some multiplication at the casino. LOL
ReplyDeleteI wish every happiness to the young man.
Oh wow - I guess I am going to have to check out that timehop. Cool! I have always loved that image on your header.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday Tamar -
It did seem like a really quick, yet fun filled trip! I haven't caved and gotten timehop yet...maybe I should! Love your trademark pic! Fractions look like so much fun in your class!
ReplyDelete"27 Hours in Vegas"....could be a movie title! I enjoyed following your escape on Instagram. Ahhhh....Time Hop....it keeps teasing me too!
ReplyDeleteFractions sure do look fun in your class. Love the airplane views.
ReplyDeleteIf you can take math and make it fun, you are a miracle worker. Your trip to Las Vegas is perhaps a few hours short of the perfect amount of time to visit there (unless you have family or friends there - then perhaps a little longer is in order).
ReplyDeleteYes, fun math games, great pictures !!
ReplyDeleteBless you for making maths fun for your kids!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to get away! I think I need to brush up on fractions...that looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteMid-week breaks are great. Want to try teaching fractions to my crew??? LOL.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember fractions being so much fun. We talked about pie but didn't get any!
ReplyDeleteLooked like a fun and quick trip to Vegas and for a great cause. You must be so proud.
ReplyDeleteThat was a fast and furious trip, but glad you could go enjoy it for all it was worth!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on they grow up so quick! Think of which I'd have a hard time remembering the fractions I learnt at school, obviously I was never taught fraction bingo, good on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting
Wren x
