I am completely in love with my classroom this year. Not that it wasn't great last year, but this year I wasn't new and sorting it all out, so I could truly make it the way I know will work best for how I teach.
The Random:
My two loves combined: IKEA + ketchup = ketchup from IKEA!
The Fun:
Had some friends over for shabbat dinner this week. Always fun to have friends over, enjoy good food, and great conversation. So much fun, there was no time to take pictures, so here are leftovers!

Love your classroom! And love Ikea - even though we don't have any Ikeas in South Africa.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I've never tried ketchup from Ikea. I didn't even know that they have ketchup!
ReplyDeleteI love your classroom. :)
Your classroom makes me so happy to see! Good job!!
ReplyDeleteAnd does the IKEA ketchup have a better taste than normal? Or is it just better because it is from IKEA, where virtually everything is better?
You, know...my boys don't eat any condiments. Not even ketchup!!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Ikea....there isn't one very close by and I never seem to want to take that long of a trip for shopping. They look like a great place though...maybe some day.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see more of your class as the year goes on. It's going to be great!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with a new school year!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fun room, and it looks like you'll have a great year new year for your class too! I adore going to IKEA too!
ReplyDeleteHi Tamar,
ReplyDeleteLove the class room. Lots of room for little
feet to roam. Have a great day!
Nice classroom. Looks like you had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like your classroom. Looks like a great start for a great year!
ReplyDeleteOh, my....such a lovely open classroom. I hope it works out well for you and that you have a great year of teaching. I'll look forward to your kids' comments you post often.
ReplyDeleteLove the layout of the classroom and how and open it is. Ikea has been a little more pricey than Allyson has wanted to venture with her first paycheck in Japan, but she loves going there for inspiration. Perhaps they have the ketchup there was well - she might have to make an exception.
ReplyDeleteHey Tamar! School started down here in the "southland" today. Your classroom looks wonderful. Looking forward to another year of you "reprting from the field" as it were.

Your class room looks so airy and cheerful - it must really be fun to work there, for and and the kids as well. Besides, all the space you have. Have a great school year!
ReplyDeleteI love your classroom! Have a wonderful start to your year!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful classroom!
ReplyDeleteYour classroom looks amazing and like a fun place to learn. Those sensory bottles are so cool. I'll have to try and make some with my younger boys. Ketchup at IKEA? I would have never guessed.
