Song-osity: Beautiful Day

On Sunday, mom and I went into the city for a day of fun.

We started downtown at Fishs Eddy. One of my favorite shops; a shop filled with an eclectic assortment of flatware, kitchen gear, and other fun things. We browsed and got a good chuckle out of all the goodies.

We had a nice lunch in Union Square Park (my favorite part of the cities is the parks) and just shmoozed and people watched.

Then, up to midtown for the main event: seeing Beautiful! And Beautiful it was!! Such a fun show featuring some classic and wonderful songs. I loved hearing the story behind Carole King's music and the cast was just phenomenal.

We ended the day with a stop at my uncle/cousins and a nice Indian meal out. Perfect way to spend the unofficial start to summer!

    I miss New York! Last time I have been there I spent more then one hour at Fishs Eddie! They are the best!
