The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 44

The Good:
It's gotten cold and brisk! That means soup season is upon me. I kicked it off with a new to me recipe. Super tasty!

The Random:
Did you hear about the "torture Siri" trick for Halloween where you ask her what to dress up for Halloween? Well everyone I know got funny Siri ideas. I got this...

The Fun:
I drove to Poughkeepsie for a bar mitzvah and as I got into Western Mass there was leftover snow from the first snowfall Thursday. I may have freaked out and taken a selfie with the snow... (it was insanely windy!)

    I sort of envious of the snow. I'm not quite ready for a blizzard but a little bit would be pretty. Now....if you remind me of this in February when we are knee deep in it, I will deny ever saying it. :)

    I saw the snow on someone else's site - brrrh - none of that here yet. But soup weather started for me too. I made simple chicken broth to start with. And your Siri answer is a lot funnier than some of the ones I have seen :)

    It's so funny - when I first looked at our house it was covered in snow. I'm not in a hurry for snow to come...but, at the same time, I am loving discovering all the seasons as they appear out my back windows! Also - Siri spooks me. I've had her start talking a few times because of a commercial on tv where someone starts talking to her...she's possessed.... Happy Halloweeen!

    We've had soup a couple times in the past week too. Nothing like soup and sando on a cold rainy day. Cute selfie with the snow. W now have snow in our mountains which is early for us so I doubt it will last but still nice to hear about and see from a distance those snow capped peaks.
