Honey Bee Cookies

Rosh Hashana is fast approaching. As Jews around the world sit down in the next few days to welcome in the new Jewish year, we'll dine on sweet foods and treats. This custom comes from the idea that we should have a sweet new year. Honey is front and center in many dishes and desserts and is even in the name of our family's go-to dessert.
We've been making this cookie recipe since I was super little. We found the recipe in the Gold Medal Flour ABC Cookbook and it's been a hit ever since. H is for Honeybee Cookies and these are so sweet, soft, and delicious. Easy to whip up and for sure a hit!
