The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 38

The Good:
Always a good time when I head over to the MFA. This time it was so quiet and peaceful!

The Random:
An aloha pepper from Mexico...?

The Fun:
Part of teaching 2nd at Maimo means also teaching science (third graders go the STEM lab). We had our first lesson on Friday and the kids were so into it!

    How disappointing that the Gobstoppers did not explode.
    My kids were always disappointed that science experiments were not more violent.

    I’ve always wanted to go to the MFA but have never made it there. It seems so far away from the north shore and when I was working in Boston I just wanted to go home after a long work day. I will have to make a special trip sometime this winter. I love going to the Isabella Stewart Gardener though.

    I always thought elementary school science should be the most fun class of the day. Students at that age are so inquisitive and excited to learn. Glad to read you're teaching science this year!

    You will have to try Hatch chiles from New Mexico or Pueblo chiles from Colorado!

    Science was my favorite subject as a child.

    I think they grow coconuts in Mexico so why not. Everything thing is so new and exciting at the beginning of the year, do they still make the big crayon box with the sharpener? I love the size contrast in your MFA photo.
