The Vessel

Our Thanksgiving tradition is to go into NYC and wander around. This year we made our way to the new development in Hudson Yards to check out the Vessel. It's a pretty amazing Escher like structure right along the Hudson River.
We made our way towards the top, wrapping around the creation, but it was insanely windy that day (even worse on the river) and we didn't make it to the top for fear of blowing away! We want to go back when it's less windy and have some more fun with it, but for sure recommend checking this new NYC landmark out!

  7. I've seen the Vessel on a few other blogger's pages too and it is just so neat to see each and every time. Did you climb all the way to the top?

  8. Oh yes, it looks as if those funny hats on Escher's people would also be around...glad you could get off the stairs and platforms!
