Devorah and I went up to Lincoln, NH to Loon Mountain. I'd been itching to ski up there and it did not disappoint.
NH has actually had a winter...so there was plenty of snow and amazing conditions on the slopes. Loon's highest peak is around 4000 vertical feet so the runs were long and amazing. They had a nice gondola to get us to the top and it was nice to be out of the wind (it was windy!) for a bit.
My legs felt even better than a few weeks ago and we chanced a few blacks -- I may have eaten snow once, but it was epic and sadly not caught on camera!

ReplyDeleteI miSs winter like that.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting.
Wow, I'd love to ski sometime! I would add this sport to my bucket list soon. Looks like you guys had so much fun up there at Loon! I want to taste the snow too, even if it could happen only after a fall, still I'd do that! The mountains in NH is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe images of snow are tempting, which I wish to visit this location at least once in my lifetime. I have traveled to several countries around the world. Unfortunately, I have never stepped into any country during the snow season.
