The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 32

The Good-ish:
Tropical Storm Isaias blew through on Tuesday. Aside from a 10-second power outage, my neighborhood faired okay (80 mph winds on the tenth floor is scary). In my neck of the woods there are just a ton of trees down, but the power outages have been fixed. It was worse in neighboring towns but we're on the mend.

The Random:
There's an office building a few blocks from me that clearly used to have a huge water feature outside. That or they thought fish jumping upstream looked good in a flower bed?

The Fun:
I have new friends. Each morning, there are a few pigeons hanging out on my window ledge!

    Isaias took down a lot of trees in my neighborhood. A friend had power out for about 24 hours. Thankfully my power never went out. Crazy times!

    Glad you got through the storm OK! My brother on Long Island lost power for five days!

    My mother in law just got her power back today! We still have lots of people around here without power. Ours thankfully returned over the weekend.
