We finally made it to Untermyer Gardens in the daylight! We've been in the winter during their light display, but the grounds are actually far more extensive than what we saw in December and it was so fun to see! The park is a remnant of Samuel Untermyer's estate overlooking the Hudson River and was designed in the early 1900s - heavily influenced by Persion gardens.
The grounds were beyond amazing. Columns, terraces, quadrants, and flowerbeds overflowing with lush greenery even in early fall. We got quite the workout wandering around and going up and down the hilly expanse!
