Irvington Bulldogs

One of the Hudson River towns, Irvington, has a fun main street art installation right now. There are 20 bulldogs, the school district's mascot, lining the hill down to the river. Each dog was sponsored by a different local business and decorated in a different style. Each dog was so well done and so unique!
They were so thoughtful with how they placed them up and down the main drag. The plumber-themed pooch, is right in front of the plumber's shop! The camo flag pup sits opposite the town's war memorial. The adorable Grand Marshall plopped right in front of town hall! 

It reminded me of the Chicago Cows on an adorable small-town scale! The dogs are on display until September when they will be auctioned off, with the funds going to the education department.

    Great idea! Anything to get the local school district some extra money is always a good idea.

    These are great. Sydney has done with a koala, rhinoceros and a whale tale.

    So very cute! Our town did something similar with cows one year and each business decorated their cow to go along with their business too. It was a lot of fun.
