This may be one of the most NYC things ever. In Chelsea, on 23rd St, there is a little free duck library - inspired by the Little Free Library concept. A little case, attached to a sign pole, allows visitors to take a duck, leave a duck, or just check out the ducks!
There weren't too many ducks the day I stopped by, but it was still fun to see the collection and the box! I hear there are some "sister" boxes popping up in Brooklyn too. Who knows - this may be the next great trend across the US!

ReplyDeleteVery cute! on our recent cruise finding little hidden ducks was a fun thing for our youngest granddaughter. She'd find one and then re-hide it.
