Do you teach penmansh...Love the colorful squashes. Do you teach penmanship at your school or just give the little ones the written alphabet and leave them on their own? Our local elementary doesn't teach penmanship and doesn't grade or comment on the student's writing. I think it's this thing about letting them be individuals and not all write with the same neatness like robots. I don't know but I do know that penmanship should be taught as far as I am concerned. Most of what I read from the kids is written sort of phonetically.
