Less is more:
Had no clue what to do with this, until I was at the Apple Store downtown, the huge clear spiral staircase, somehow said less is more to me.
Holiday lights:
I love (love!) holiday lights, really gorgeous tasteful ones. I went to check out the Boston Christmas tree and had some fun taking pics of the lights!
Ornaments:
This picture brought to you by the decorations at my neighborhood Trader Joe's! No ornaments in my apartment, this time of year!
Cup of cheer:
My friend Robyn gave me this fun mug a few years ago for a Chanukah gift, I keep him on my desk to give me cheer all year round!
Nativity:
So, no nativity scene in this apartment, so I was kinda stumped. Until I looked up the word nativity - it also just means birth. So a birthday card it is!
PS: I finally created a blog button, feel free to grab it off the right side of my blog!
Tamara you were really creative with these prompts and I'm sure you'll be able to put some Chanukah bits and pieces to the prompts over the next few weeks.
ReplyDeleteWell, the stress worked for you because I think this is one of my favorite Scavenger Hunt collections of yours! VERY creative, which I love. BTW, the ONLY colored Christmas lights I like are those big retro bulbs like you have in your one photo....love those. And your "less is more" is such a clever interpretations....so striking in b/w too.

You have great interpretations this week. I love the staircase. That is just stunning! And the card for Nativity is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is so interesting. Almost abstract. Love the way you interpreted nativity. I found that a tough prompt. I find my ornaments at other places besides my house too. shhhhh...it's our secret.
ReplyDeletePS...your image isn't showing in the linky. You might want to give that a 2nd look.
lovely photos this week - I can't take photos of lights yet though!!
