Scav Hunt Sunday: Figurines and Fires

Whimsical:
I loved these polka dots on a window of a shop in Salem.

Vintage:
These awesome vintage figurines of the Wizard of Oz characters - I think it's so adorable that they have trick-or-treat baskets.

Nature:
I love the piles of leaves that accumulate all over the sidewalks in November.

Cooking:
I just love the blue flame of a gas range.

Week's best:
Well, I had numerous options for this (okay not so numerous), but then I sent Savannah Guthrie a tweet saying congrats on the Today Show earning the top rating spot this week...and she replied!!

  1. Your flame shot has got to be the most creative idea for the cooking prompt. Nicely done!

  11. How cool to get a reply. My fave is that low POV on the leaves, but I'm a sucker for low POV every time. Very clever that cooking shot-you're always thinking! Happy 3 day Tamar.

  21. What fun polka dots! And the leaves are gorgeous. I have had my eye on several places to get leaf strewn shots and every time I get to them, there is a guy with a leaf blower. Arggh! Oh, well, I shall enjoy yours instead.
