Song-ography: Pinkalicious?

Pink, it was love at first sight...
or not.

Yeah...pink? Not so much. I have never been a pink person. Never. Ever. If a pink garment was brought within a five mile radius of me as a child I ran the other direction. I was a blue girl and a purple girl. Most certainly not a pink girl.

Maybe I am a rainbow purist. I don't see any pink up there!

Of course, as I pondered this song, I was ironing. I came across one of my favorite blouses. I looked at it and went "well I'll be..." - some might argue that the shirt is definitely a shade of pink...
Pink it's my new obsession...

I don't think it's an obsession, but proof that tastes and people can change...

  1. So funny. I had the same reaction! Seriously looked around my house. Nothing pink! Almost went with "pink themed scrapbook pages" ... then got the "soxpiration"! Although, I was surprised at how few pink hats etc. were being worn. I think the fad of wearing pink, ladies sports gear has passed.

  3. The first thing I did was look in my closet for pink but the only thing there was the "laundry mistake" that turned out pink. You did a cool job with your post this week.

  5. I'm with you, though now I do have some pink t-shirts. My mom told me I cried when I was little because she painted my room pink and got a pink bedspread. Not my thing :)

  9. I loved pink as a wee girl, then went on a pink strike to prove I wasn't a baby. I enjoy pink now, though I'm more of a muted color girl.

  15. Your story has shades of my daughter - only she liked pink when very young (or maybe she didn't and just didn't say much about it - more focus was on seamless socks and matching hairbands) - after that it was purple, all purple, and then black (the seriously anti-pink middle school years) - but now she is semi okay with it now.

PS - Like that bowl rainbow.

And, thank you for hanging in there with me through the computer crash.

  16. Your Rainbow bowls are so colorful. I confess that I do have "pink" in my closet, not a lot but it's there.

  17. Love the rainbow shot! I much prefer purple to pink, but I can embrace my inner pink occasionally.
