me: oh? 

kid: ass 

me: next time spell the bad word not bad “oh!”

kid: ms. benjamin, what's that word?

me: herr, it means mr. in german

kid: english, hebrew, and now I'm reading german! I'm good!

kid: ms benjamin, he licked my finger

me: then why were you putting his fingers near his mouth still?

kid: to annoy him?

kid: why is it still snowing!? make it stop, please!!

kid 1: sometimes you get a lot of cats when you're a lonely person

kid 2: but I'm allergic, I better never be lonely!

kid: you're trying to disobey the laws of gravity, bad choice, very bad choice!

kid: here (giving me book while laying on the rug)

me: oh get up!

kid: i'm tired!!

me: I had 40 conferences this week, I'm tired!

kid: but I had to focus ALL DAY!!

me: what is the capital of the USA?

kid: Mississippi!!

kid: winner, winner, kosher chicken dinner!

kid 1: oh tartar sauce!!! 

kid 2: I'm hungry now!

kid: and jazz hands!!!!!!

kid: should I say a cursive word? see what I did there?
me: no
kid: yeah, I don't know what I did either...

kid: I can't think about what I think...

me: I wasn't born yesterday

kid 1: yes you were!

kid 2: April fools!

kid 1: that's not how you do it!

kid: english is not a style it's a language!

kid 1: I'm not a dictionary!!

kid 2: well you are very talkative!!

kid: I don't want to go home!

me: why!?

kid: there are teenagers coming for the weekend!

me: so, is the classroom still in one piece after I was gone for 2 days?

kid 1: well....no one burned it down!

kid 2: good thing, since we actually had a fire drill!
