Scarborough

I've been a news/politics junky since the high school days. I discovered Joe Scarborough and Morning Joe soon after it began 10 years ago and have been a daily viewer since then. I am pretty much in love with the whole gang: Joe, Mika, Barnicle, Willie, the lot.
In recent years, Joe found his passion for music and has been releasing EPs and performing around NY. I'm not usually into the Indie-Rock genre, but it was Joe so I had to listen...and fell in love with his sound and songs.
Last week on air he announced that Joe and his band would be in Boston at an annual benefit concert. After nearly falling off the elliptical I decided I had to get tickets (charity and Joe?!). I am not the go out to a concert on a Saturday night type of girl but I had myself right up there at the stage!
He is amazing in person (and tall!). He sang a few of my favorites and I was fan girling the whole time. He even made some great jabs at the current political climate!
And yes...Mika was there too! That was as exciting as hearing Joe sing! I've long admired her and her work in news and media and to see her *right in front of me* (see serious fan girl!).

Really an amazing night, so glad I went and had this in person experience!

  1. I have no idea who you are talking about, but the way you describe yourself as "fan girling" made me laugh!

  5. I knew I'd heard of him before but I didn't place him as the talk show guy when I saw your concert pics! So fun.
