Contemporary Art

I am a sucker for some contemporary art. The MFA has a few gorgeous new installations.
Many don't think a fine arts museum should have modern pieces, but I love the new that meets old!

Oh, I absolutely think modern art should be included. It's such a huge part of our artistic history.

I was just looking at a piece that was a little more abstract yesterday and almost bought it. We don't have anything like that.

I am not a big fan of modern art, but I do like the last two more than the paintings on the walls.
Hope you are having a great day!

I'm not a huge fan of modern art.. but I have seen some wonderful installations at our local art museum that incorporate modern art and I found I do love pieces that invoke movement. I definitely think they need to be included in art museums alongside the masters as the whole point of art is to push our boundaries.

I too love modern art. In this case the way our reflection shows on one side of the painting where there is one solid color.
