The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 46

The Good:
We got our first snow! It came in fast and left a few inches before changing to rain. Winter is here!

The Random:
Nothing cuter than third graders giving their book reports. The loudest kids suddenly whisper and they forget to face the audience!

The Fun:
Heartbreak had recruitment night Thursday - nothing better than a fun run and hanging at Harpoon!
Love this squad.

Ahhhh book reports! I remember those! Torture for a girl who was terrified of public speaking. And yet the writer in me never could seem to keep them short. So I always had to stand in front for a lonnnnnnnnnng time to give them!

We had our first snow on Thursday too. I thought I could get my run in before it started, but I got caught 1.5 miles away from my car when it started to sleet! I got pelted with tiny ice crystals as I dashed back to shelter as fast as I could! Love the pic of you hanging with your tribe at Harpoon!

Yes, suddenly it doesn't feel like autumn anymore!

Tamar, you are so cute! I love that last photo! And the snow covered bench is just gorgeous. I am already finished with snow, however, and it only just arrived, all ready to ruin my cute boots! Hahaha. And isn’t it hilarious how even the loudest, boldest children lose their nerve in front of the class? My 5 year old is not in the least bit shy. He is obnoxious and stubborn with no filter and no shame. Yet when he has to talk in front of his class, his voice becomes a barely audible whisper!

We got some snow too and it was a really big mess for a lot of people that got stuck in it. I'm glad I didn't have to be anywhere that day! The 3rd grade book reports must be so cute!

Wow - snow already? We've gotten some heavy frosts here. Hood River definitely gets more winter weather than Portland - I'm not really looking forward to it.

I guess you didn't get it crazy like they did in NJ! Our first snow was just an inch or so too.

I don't know if or when we'll see snow this year in Alabama, but it's always beautiful to see it wherever we can!

Wow, snow. Since I live in a part of the country that doesn't get any I like it. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Is that your whole class? You have such a small group, that must be lovely

The bench with the dusting of snow is such an appealing photo -- worthy of framing!
