The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 48

The Good:
The sunrises lately have been insanely beautiful!!

The Random:
My area is known for its wild turkeys (no they're not pretty, they are evil evil birds!). Monday after Thanksgiving and these men were blocking traffic near work, bragging that they survived apparently (no you can't hunt them...).

The Fun:
Chanukah began last night! I had some fun pulling out some decorations to make the apartment look festive!

...I see a lot of turkeys, but never like these!

Well, you might not be a fan of the turkeys but they look so exotic to me! What a fun picture.
Chanukah sameach.

Well, at least these turkeys were putting on a nice show with their fanned out tails.
Thankfully, here in Maine we CAN hunt them, but only during very specific seasons and under very specific conditions. Truly, they are becoming a hazard because they are so plentiful EVERYWHERE!

Oh my word, Tamar, those turkeys! We have a lot of wild turkeys here, too, but those are enormous! I once had one squawk directly in my face through my living room window! Apparently, she had all her chicks living in my yard and she walked right up to my screen and screeched at me. Wicked things!

Sunrises here are beautiful too. You're quite sarcastic about the wild turkeys. ..;)
Thank you for hosting.

Oh, that sunrise! I rarely get to see one (no windows in our house on that side!) so I live vicariously through everyone else's sunrises. Post as many as you want!

the turkeys! We had a bunch in Minnesota and they would perch in our tree - they made such a mess and were so noisy.

I can't say I have ever seen wild turkeys crossing the road before! Love that pic.

Those turkeys are so funny. A friend of ours posted that they saw turkeys on Thanksgiving and her husband called them the shiva minyan! Happy Hanukkah!

That Turkey shot is excellent - you couldn't have planned it better!!

Happy Hanukkah to you and the wild turkeys. Maybe they're looking for those stupid scooters. I gotta say those are bigger and badder assed than the ones around here. What is it with turkeys everywhere?

Happy Hanukkah to you and your family. Very lovely photos. Love the sunrise. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.

Great sunrise cityscape and those turkeys are impressive. We have a lot on campus here but the rarely show their full feathers out like that. They are pretty aggressive too and attack students on bikes. Yikes!

Those turkeys are hilarious! I've never seen turkeys taking over a street like that!
