The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 9

The Good:
I finally got my hands on Trevor Noah's biography and devoured it in an afternoon. He does an amazing job of peppering his comedy into the rough story of his upbringing in Apartheid and post-Apartheid South Africa. Highly recommend, even if you aren't a huge fan of the Daily Show!

The Random:
Sat down at my chiro's office and saw this book. The office admin and I had a good chuckle about it. But...you got to like someone's determination and outlook!

The Fun:
We got some more snow this week! No snow day, but it sure looked pretty!

Something tells me you probably have a snow day today-- no? We woke to over 14" of snow and lots of unplowed roads.

Snow day here!
Not sure what the final inch count will be . . .

I don't think I want to live 120 years...unless Ryan lives that long with me!! I'm all for a long, fruitful life, but maybe not THAT long.

Our book club read Trevor Noah's book a few months ago. It engendered a great discussion!

We have a lake effect snow storm coming our way tonight that is threatening 11 inches of snow. I think it will hit south of us though and we will have no snow day. Which would be good since we have already used more snow days than our allotted amount!

Snow always looks so pretty - even if it was not a snow day. We have the Trevor Noah book doing the rounds in my Book Club. I will try and get my hands on it.

I like how the writer chose 120!

I loved Born a Crime, too. I watch The Daily Show several times a week, and had no clue that this was Trevor's background. Made me respect him even more.

I heard Trevor Noah interviewed about his book. Interesting life.

Too much snow and rain lately even for us. At least it gives you time to read some good books. I could use a good snow day.

You've probably had enough snow for this winter and are ready for spring! We are having far more rain than usual -- it's been a strange winter!
