Mom and I headed to the Rye Marshland Conservatory to take a walk in the marshlands. After a walk in the woods, the path opens into a lush field that leads you to the marshes in the Long Island Sound. It was a gorgeous place to explore and easy to social distance.
We used to live on marshlands just like this in NJ and it was so great to be walking in the brush and along the water. Marshes have a certain smell and even through our masks that subtle odor was there! We for sure want to go back in other seasons to see what the land looks like then.
