The Good:
Happy Chanukah!! We kicked off the festival of lights and oil with some seriously delicious latkas last night!
The Random:
My mom's apartment building has some lovely Chanukah decorations. The kippah (skull cap) on the left is an interesting choice....more of a religious symbol than a holiday one, but A for effort?
The Fun:
The apartment is feeling so festive with my Chanukah decorations out. Growing up we had out house decked out for Chanukah, so it's fun to start my own traditions in the Chanukah decor department.

ReplyDeleteHappy Chanukah, my friend! Those latkas look amazing! I have been told my Jewish best friend (and confirmed by his mother) that my latkas are even better than his grandmother’s! And I’m not even Jewish! (Well, maybe a little...there is that little bit of Ashkenazi in my DNA that we have previously discussed!) In any event, now I think I need to make some latkas for myself!
