We got our first good snowfall of the year on Friday. We called the snow day Thursday evening (like the old-fashioned kind, not a Zoom day) and by Friday morning we woke to a blanket of white! My inner winter-loving heart was so happy. There is nothing better than a neighborhood draped in beautiful white snow.
I took a nice walk around my neighborhood as the flakes finished falling and soaked up the beauty. Hoping for a few more snowy days before winter wraps up, but grateful to have gotten this storm!
It's sure pretty!
ReplyDeleteThere is such peacefulness, and pristine joy in new fallen snow...thank you so much for sharing a few views from your walk...I imagined the sounds as snow clunked off of trees onto drifts, and almost no wind, just the crunching of your boots!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!!! I am not a fan of snow but those pictures are absolutely stunning!!! Great to watch out of a window - HA!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Love how the beautiful snow paintings of the earth can make one feel so peaceful. Don't the like ravaging ones though. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely. The ones of the fence lines are really cool looking. Also the Gazebo is very pretty and I liked the snow covered berries. I like looking at snowy pictures but I don't like being in actual snow.
ReplyDeleteThe one with the gazebo made me think so much of Ryan's mom. It's a scene she would have captured. I miss her snow photography. Thanks for the sweet memory today.
ReplyDeleteI love all about this post!!
