Strolling the High Line

Walking the High Line and seeing the new art pieces is always a treat. It is truly a gem in the city for red-light free stroll. There were many new pieces since I last walked up there and spring was finally in bloom making it a truly magical city oasis.
Some of the new art is a little out there...but it's fun to see how the space changes with more abstract modern art and with more subdued pieces. I loved the mosaic bench piece and the series of three melting candles the most, I think!

    Oh, you know how much I LOVE the High Line. Thanks for sharing. I don't have a trip to NYC planned anytime soon but this makes me want to get there ASAP!!!
