I had an engagement photo shoot last weekend. A friend referred her friends, who had just gotten engaged, to me. We booked the shoot, knowing that in Boston we ran the risk of sub-zero temps and snow. We got both...but kept the date anyway.
I was anxious about shooting people in the snow and was grateful for the cloud cover. And I love how they turned out!! They were super great to work with and we got some great shots before we lost feeling in our hands and feet.
Here is a small sampling of the images I presented them with!
I am going to be taking the pictures on their wedding day too (small ceremony for family and friends), in August, at the beach. We kept joking that we'll likely be sweltering then and thinking of the snow to cool us off!Congrats to the couple!

You did wonderfully! Cute couple. :)
ReplyDeleteTamar! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Brave of them to do their shoot in the snow! She has a wonderful smile - and I love the hand in hand on the path shot!

ReplyDeletewow, I didn't know you do photo sessions! that's very cool.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to photograph love? Marvelous job my friend.
ReplyDeleteIt is so exciting to see you take on these new adventures! You did a great job! A snowy engagement shoot and a sweltering wedding sounds about right! It will be so fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are quite lovely. They look comfortable despite the temperature and you did very good with no blowing out the white snow. Here's to hoping that the beach shoot has a nice ocean breeze and the temperatures are in your favor (seems mother nature owes you one).
ReplyDeletegreat shots! so much fun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tamar - well done!!! I can't wait to see the wedding shots. How exciting!!

ReplyDeleteI love these - especially how they highlight the friendship aspect of romance. In my opinion, that's what makes a good marriage!
ReplyDeleteThe photos look great!! Was this a first for you??
ReplyDeleteNice job! I really like the monochrome of them walking away on the path.
ReplyDeletesuch pretty shots. I like the one of them walking down the road.

ReplyDeleteWonderful job! I like the black and white as well as the color shots. You clearly captured their love for each other. It will be fun to see the beach photos as a contrast. Fun memories!
