Day, dayeinu! It would have been enough!
Dayeinu!*
So far, Passover has been wonderful and filled with enough joy and excitement to go around.
Two good seders with family and friends - dayeinu!
Delicious food for our celebration - dayeinu!
A leak under the sink - dayeinu! (you have to have a little excitement!)
Enjoying a wonderful new hagaddah - dayeinu!
Hiding the afikomen and laughing as Sam and Aaron tried to find it - dayeinu!
Ending the second Seder with a wonderful rendition of "Chad Gad Ya" - dayeinu!
Another wonderful start to Passover!
*During the Passover Seder, we sing the song "Dayeinu" (die-ay-new) which means "it would have been enough." The verses list various acts God has performed for the Jews surrounding leaving Egypt up through arriving in Israel, each verse is followed by a chorus of "dayeinu!"
