The MFA has a cool feature on the drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci. It's amazing to look at these sketches that date back so many years. He really was a genius and quite the artist.
The Random:
How cool is this? The owner of the horse that won the Kentucky Derby graduated from my school!
The Fun:
I'm doing well on my 5K training. My pace is getting a lot faster and I am making use of the gorgeous weather to get outside on the weekends. Not too shabby when your run takes you by Fenway.

ReplyDeleteGood for you! There are sooo many fun 5k runs these days. :)
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE to run! Our knees do not. We walk up and down stairs instead. And run in our mind.

Awesome job on the 5K training!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the training and maybe you'll catch a fly ball if you run by at just the right time. :)
ReplyDeleteYou always go see the coolest stuff - I love seeing all you do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughts on de Vinci. He truly was an amazing man. Fun that the owner of the horse is from your school. Those horse races are so expensive and last such a short time...the owner must be very successful.
ReplyDeleteLove the Yawkey Way photo. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteYou are making great time on your runs! I'm impressed. Running is so hard for me.
ReplyDeleteYes, a true genius Leonardo Da Vinci.
ReplyDeleteMy friend got me some really cool da Vinci stationery from some gallery and I always feel like I'm jotting down important discoveries whenever I use them. ;p
ReplyDeleteDefinitely some cool stuff at the MFA and well done on your training.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with anyone that runs (or maybe I think they're crazy).
ReplyDeleteRunning is good for the heart and soul! Good for you. Great bunch of photos for your good random fun of the past week!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you are training for a 5K. Years ago I tried running but was so intimidated by men cat-calling that I did not continue.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're having some nice sunny weather and great job on the marathon training. I envy those that can run.
ReplyDeleteWe learned a bit about DaVinci too-he really was the Renaissance man. How cool about the Kentucky Derby winner!
ReplyDeleteWow! You are doing great with your running! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteUmmm...yes! VERY cool to get to run by Fenway! I'm very slowly starting to turn my walking into running...not sharing that with too many people -cause I'm sure it'll be a slow process! Very inspiring to see you going for a 5K!
