Chicago is for sure one of my favorite cities.
Such an amazing mix of new modern buildings and amazing old architecture.
I love the old mixed in with the new - keeps a city exciting, yet classic.
Guess that's why I love Boston so much!

So many tall skyscrapers!
ReplyDeleteI really want to go there!! My daughter did a boat tour of the architecture and loved it!
ReplyDeleteI know from our weekend there that THAT much city living is not for me. But apart from that, OH my. The city IS so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have been to Chicago many times, and my daughter used to live there for a couple of years through Fort Sheridan. Young people really love the city!

So cool how that plaza in front of the Chicago Tribune building is made to resemble the architecture of the building itself. Like a permanent reflection.
ReplyDeleteChicago is my kind of stylish town too! Lucky for me I've gotten to stay there often too. Great shots, and I believe today is skyscraper day too!
ReplyDeleteHere is that link showing September 3rd as Skyscraper Day!

As always you capture the scene so well. I always love seeing your perspective on the landscape!
ReplyDeleteAnd yet there is a 'difference' that I can not exactly put my finger on between Chicago, NY, and Boston. Each with beautiful architecture.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics - Chicago is a fun city! I always enjoy visiting there. My brother is on the Chicago police force so sometimes I can get escorts to get from one place to another quickly : )
ReplyDeleteI've only been to Chicago one time...and I was on Greyhound bus on my way to Seattle. And, it was the middle of the night. It looks like a great city to visit though. Nice images.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these!
ReplyDeleteI love the city of Chicago. It is always a delight to go and experience the beauty and life of the city! You captured some terrific shots of "my kind of town."
