Fall has fallen

Fall has fallen in New England. More leaves on the ground than on the trees. The once vibrant hues becoming muted as they crunch beneath my feet.
The color that lingers, I savor. Soon the colors will be gone, the temperatures even lower, and inevitably a blanket of white will eventually cover the ground. But for now, fall is falling.

  5. Things are pretty crunchy around here too. I'm always a little bummed when I realize that most of the leaves are no longer on the trees :(

  14. This is one of the most beautiful phases of fall to me. It's fleeting, but beautiful. Looks like winter is just one gust of wind away!
