Song-osity: NY State of Mind

I'm taking a greyhound on the Hudson River Line...
I'm in a New York state of mind...

{NY State of Mind - Billy Joel}

One of the most wonderful exhibits the NYBG has each year is their train show. But, it is so much more than a train show! It is an amazing showcase of NYC landmarks masterfully created out of natural materials.

Pinecones, bark, moss, fungi, and more come together to create the Statue or Liberty, to the Public Library, to Hudson River Valley mansions, and the NY bridges. Trains whizz by the landmarks delighting the kiddos and adults alike.

It was a great way to spend a Saturday night in NYC with mom!

And! Come link up and join the Good.Random.Fun. each Monday, right here!
