Just when my snow loving heart began to give up hopes of a nice solid snow storm...
Waking up to that quintessential snow gray sky, watching the flakes begin to fall, and seeing the neighborhood get blanketed in white --- that is what winter is made of!
Snowy weekends are really something else. Already a slower pace. Add some snow. Perfection.
Now if I could get one or two decent snow days from school, I'd really be elated!

ReplyDeleteGreat snow pictures! We haven't had a snow day in the past 2 school years, this is the 3rd year if it continues as it is! It snowed last Thursday and I think they could have canceled but they didn't. And now it's supposed to be icy all weekend but sure enough Monday is a day off anyway!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of snow. I think we are up to about 3-4 feet total - but we have the Jan thaw coming by next week & it will feel like spring. I'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteThose are great shots. When we were traveling Blessing was excited because in D.C. we had a sun snow shower. Lasted five minutes, but still...she saw actual snowflakes!
