While in NY mom and I drove up to the Croton Dam to take in the sights and sounds of the Croton Dam. We'd been there years ago but it was so lovely to go back. This time we also made our way to the top of the dam and walked all the way across the span!
Dams just fascinate me. The engineering behind them, the beauty of the falls, the fragility of a wall containing mass amounts of water. Even more amazing to think that this was made in the early 1900s! Just amazing.
