 Castle Hill on the Crane Estate has been on my "too see in MA" bucket list for ages. It's a gorgeous property up in Ipswich, overlooking the water.

It was a summer home to the wealthy Crane family from Chicago. They had the 59 room mansion built atop the hill with acres of planned gardens and views of the oceans below.

The signature part of the estate might just be the Grand Allee - the rolling lawn from the home to the cliff overlooking Crane Beach.

It was so stunning up there. I can only imagine calling that home and having those grounds to walk around!

    WOW. 59 rooms!! While I confess I would just get lost and have to call for backup, that is a stunning home. BEAUTIFUL!

    When I saw your title, Ed Sheeran's song immediately came to mind. :) I love his songs. A pity that he canceled his concert here when he got injured.
