The Portland Art Museum has an amazing exhibit right now called "Animating Life: The Art and Science and Wonder of Laika." It is an amazing up close look at the stop motion studio that brought us movies like
Coraline, Box Trolls, Kubo and many more. The exhibit shows the process of stop motion animation movies, has so many sets and characters to see up close, and more!
Ronan and I were equally mesmerized! It was super cool to see much of this up close and personal. The colors and designs were amazing and to see how they bring these characters to life on the big screen was really cool.
