Been waiting for this rematch since 2004 (well in truth I would have preferred to have played anyone BUT the Pats...)...BUT THE EAGLES WON THE SUPER BOWL!!! What a game...my BP was through the roof the whole time and I was barely breathing in the end. Gah! So worth the wait and years of "they know how to play football...right?"
The Random:
Oh New England Children...snowing and 21ºF outside and they shed their coats....come inside and they put the coat on and refuse to take it off....
The Fun:
I had my first race of 2018 yesterday! I ran a fun 5k in Cambridge - the proceeds of the fees go to cancer research, so a good cause. I even ran a solid PR after two weeks of the icky lung crud. Bring it on 2018 races!

Well done on the race Tamar, I really need to get back into running again :) Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI love your top pic. I can tell you are an excited can just like my friend Tasha!
ReplyDeleteAfter the game last night, Ryan said, "Ohhhhh poor Tamar! She's probably upset about this! I said NOPE!!! She's an Eagles fan!" Wish you could have seen the look on his face! I didn't breathe through the end of it either and I'm not even a football girl. I was so rooting for them because I appreciated their sportsmanship! And CONGRATS on your great run!! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteTamar, you are so stinking adorable! Being a native Pennsylvanian (but not much of a football fan), I was happy with the outcome of the Super Bowl. And congrats on your run!

Great job on the run. Congrats on the Eagles win. Zachary never wants to wear a coat / keeps it unzipped outside but he leaves it on inside, lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love seeing you out there enjoying your race!
ReplyDeletewell done on the race! Must feel so good to start out the year strong - even after illness.
ReplyDeleteLook at you go! Oh my gosh, I wasn't breathing either and felt so nauseous!!! What a game!!
ReplyDeleteYour comment about the coats made me laugh. Glad your team won the Super Bowl. This house is not into football...I was lucky to know who was playing.
ReplyDelete...at least they had long pants.
ReplyDeleteYay Eagles! It's good when the team considered the underdog wins.
ReplyDeleteKids here in Colorado like to wear shorts all winter! Crazy!
Congrats on your race! I'm now fighting that same cold you had...boo
Congrats on the Eagles who I was rooting for because of my extreme dislike of Tom Brady and the Pats. Blech, good for you, Philadelphia! So, tell me, riots in the streets? I thought you were going to say the kids were lighting trees on fire or something.
ReplyDeleteSame kind of behavior here with the no coat in the cold and snow and the kids aren't the only ones.
Congrats to the Eagles and to you on your run. Hope you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteOh jeez, I think of you as Philly girl! Well, it's about time they learned the world hates the Pats, hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting. Nothing like that feeling when your team wins the final - esp if they haven't won before!! What elation for you.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You started new year of racing very well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting.
Well, congratulations and congratulations! Well done.
ReplyDeleteWay to go girl! And what a game! Fly Eagles Fly!
ReplyDeleteWe were happy the Eagles won too. It was a good game. I have a hard time getting Brandon out of his jacket indoors. Drives me nuts but there are large battles to fight. Congrats on your 1st race for 2018!
ReplyDeleteWe're having freezing temps (for HK anyway!) now and J just goes to school in his PE Kit (shorts and short-sleeved shirt) and a thin hoodie, while I am bundled up in layers and still feel cold!
ReplyDeleteI am a college football fan, but I watched the super bowl and pretty happy the Eagles won. I am not a Tom Brady fan at all.
