Got back into racing this week with a Turkey Trot 5k race. Great results overall and a nice way to re-enter the race scene!
The Random:
I gave my students their geometry pre-test this week and as usual got some hilarious responses. One little girl, not knowing the names of some shapes gave them new names altogether!
The Fun:
We had a super low key Thanksgiving. Lazy morning, saw "The Crimes of Grindelwald" in the afternoon, and then a nice dinner at Legal Sea Foods!

Snow! How exciting. The sun is still shining over here. Love the names of some of those shapes :)
ReplyDeleteI fear I would be just like your geometry-challenged student. Math...fail (for me).

Congrats on the Turkey trot 5k. They are so much fun. I love running a turkey trot Thanksgiving morning. then I feel justified in stuffing myself in the afternoon! :) That shape LOOKS like it should be named Robin!
