Shana tova...
{Avinu Malkeinu -- Barbra Streisand}
Another High Holiday season has begun.
Another strange Jewish holiday separated from our congregations and friends.
Mom and I made the best of it.
Time together.
Yummy food.
The beauty of Judaism is that we are so grounded in customs and rituals.
Even in a year of chaos, we had normal.
Apples and honey.
Round challah.
New fruits.
Apple cake.
May this only be a year of health for us all!

ReplyDeleteThis also reminds me that I bought a pomegranate last week for Sam and I to eat and it's still sitting there waiting for us...
