The local kosher supermarket had an amazing offering of more exotic fruits ahead of Rosh Hashana. It's a custom to eat fruits you haven't had in a year, so many people go to the more exotic types since we don't often eat them.

Part of Rosh Hashana is called tashlich where we go to the water and cast out sins ahead of a new year. I joined the 4th graders at the beach for their early ceremony as part of the Judaic studies class.
