Cranberry Lake Quarry

I headed up the road about 10 minutes to Cranberry Lake to take a hike. The wooded path snakes up to an old quarry with loads of rocky areas to scamper about on the way up and down.
It was such a great hike. Not too easy, but not too strenuous. There were subtle hints that fall is about to kick into high gear and it did my head well to be in nature after a busy week at work!

    What a beautiful place to hike, Tamar! We went on a little hike this past weekend as well and I will be sharing it soon. I laughed at your photo of the carved "love" tree. I took a similar photo of a similar tree during our hike!
