I needed a news detox over the weekend and headed down the road to Saxon Woods Park. I have never hiked in there and heard it's a great set of trails. I got there later in the afternoon and enjoyed the fading light as it streamed through the remaining leaves.
The trails were so rocky (my favorite type) and I stumbled across streams, old rocky walls, went under local highways, and through tunnels. There were tons of upended trees from recent storms and some pretty giant leaves, too.
There are more pathways to explore and I will for sure be back!
