LuminoCity

Over Decemeber break we drove down to Randall's Island to check out LuminoCity, another light show. This one was just like the lantern shapes from the Zoo lights and the creations were huge insanely cool. We wandered through various zones - jungle, fossils, a crystal ice zone, Native Americans, and various other plants and creations. We kept joking it was a mix of Jurrasic Park + Honey I Shrunk the Kids + an acid trip. 
The path was right up on the lights and there were so many, packed together the effect was really cool. There were a enough people all stopping to take pictures we did feel like we had to move through quickly to stay safe. Hopefully next year we can take it a little slower - but still a fun adventure this year!
