MoMa

Mom and I ventured to the Museum of Modern Art in the city over vacation week. It felt so good to be back in a museum! I hadn't been in MoMa in years and years and they'd massively expanded in that time. Right now they have basically "cleaned the closets" and are showcasing their collection until they can get new exhibits in the halls.
The range of art was just amazing. It did my museum loving heart so much good to be back in a gallery after 10 long months! I can't wait to slowly get back to the city's other galleries when it feels safe to do so!

    Ooh, now I am jealous! I can live without bars and restaurants but have really missed seeing new exhibitions and visiting museums :(

    Tamar, thanks so much for sharing these images! I have not been to museum in such a long time and I am craving such an outing! So this was a nice little "living vicariously through you" moment! Your photos of the art displayed made me smile! Thank you! Art is so good for the soul, isn't it?

    I am determined we will get to MoMA next time we get to New York. I've only been once and LOVED it! And I miss museums...

    I love the MoMa! Is that first one Keith Haring? And in the one with the rainbow colored art, why is that person missing a head?

    I was a member of MOMA for many years but it was mainly so I could drop by often to see van Gogh's "Starry Night"--my absolute favorite painting of his.
