The Good:
I read 2 books over the Passover vacation. The Ickabog was a whimsical and sweet read, who doesn't love a fairytale-esque happily ever after story? Red at the Bone was captivating and wonderful. A quick read but just beautifully written!
Ok...Peeps flavors are really just going 90 steps too far...
The Fun:
My friend and former co-worker was driving through White Plains last week coming home from family - she's fully vaccinated now so we hung out for 2 hours! We hadn't seen each other in person since March 13, 2020 so this was so so great! Thank you vaccines!

ReplyDeleteI agree with you--yay for the vaccines! It's going to make relationships easier again. I got my second shot today so once two weeks are up, I look forward to some in-person visits that I've not gotten to have in awhile. Yippee!

ReplyDeleteI think Peeps are a solely American thing because I don't recall seeing them in Canada. Thank you for reminding me that I wanted to put some Jacqueline Woodson books on hold -- I also added that one to my list. And YAY for getting to see a friend!!!
