The Good:
It was a great Teacher Appreciation Week at school. Big lawn sign, dinner, breakfast, challah and wine - the PTA went all out).
The Random:
Seen at a rest stop on I-87 heading north. I have many questions...
We went to a fun Women in Food and Farming fair to see a friend and we also got to see Alpacas!
The alpacas are so cute! We have a farm here, in Mitspe Ramon, which we visited with the boys when they were young. They still talk about it!
ReplyDelete...my three children are all teachers and I'm not sure that they are always appreciated, it's a tough job!
ReplyDeleteAw, so much fun stuff today, Tamar! What a lovely way to recognize the teachers in your school! I appreciate all of you for the job you do. Because I know now more than ever that I don't want to be a teacher to my kids or anyone else's! That rest stop sculpture is amazing and now I have some questions about it, too! And what is cuter than a cuddly alpaca?! Well, a group of cuddly alpacas, of course!

ReplyDeleteAlpacas are adorable.
Alpacas!!!! I've had that same hair before. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness those alpacas. So cute! Your PTA does go all out. Wine?!!! Yes!
ReplyDeleteWe saw alpacas this week too! Glad you had a good Teacher's Appreciation Week.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good teacher's appreciation week!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on Teacher's Appreciation Week! Well deserved recognition for all!
ReplyDeleteLove the alpacas -- I also see them being raised on some ranches here in Colorado.
Your school goes all out to show appreciation for their teachers. So nice! I have to tell you...one year our school gave us a bowl of popcorn as a teacher appreciation gift. That's ONE bowl of popcorn for 100 teachers! :)
ReplyDeleteAlpacas are soooo cute. I think they're the friendlier one too? (Llamas being the cranky ones?)
ReplyDeleteGlad you were shown such appreciation by your PTA! It's nice to be loved. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the "armchair traveler" photos! It is always fun to see other neighborhoods and the happiness that lives there. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a couple of those Alpacas didn't want their picture taken. LOL! So glad you all had such a great teacher appreciation week, and yeah, what a random rest stop display.
ReplyDeleteYAY for being appreciated!!! And yes, what a random rest stop?!?!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week. Love the rest stop display.
