The Good:
Hurricane Henri hit last week, we faired well in terms of damaging wind which is good, but we ended up with close to 8 inches of rain. I caught the storm moving in and it sure was a dramatic entrance!
The Random:
Those are some funky-looking pineapples...
The Fun:
Our admin team went into the city for a nice dinner. None of us had the few hours to give up, but we were glad we did. A few hours actually talking about non-work-related things, excellent food, and a few moments of levity as we ramp up for another unpredictable year!
That certainly is a very dramatic shot! Glad you are okay.
ReplyDeleteStorm makes for such beautiful sky. So glad to hear that you are fine. Sometimes taking the time off is the best thing. The wine looks refreshing. Those are mangos, aren’t they?

ReplyDeleteOh wow, Tamar, that storm photo is brilliant! What a great capture. And those pineapples look a little off! How great that you got some social time with work friends before the chaos begins!
