I heard about Opus 40 last winter and was excited to finally visit a few weeks back. It's an amazing stone-covered sculpture park about 90 minutes away from Westchester. Many call it the Stonehedge of North America and it was created by artist Harvey Fite in the 70s.
It was so fun to walk around the stone-covered park. There are nooks and crannies. Gorges and ponds. You have to tread carefully as some slate wiggles, but that just makes you take your surroundings in even more! Definitely a fun discovery in the Hudson Valley.
This stone paved park looks fantastic!
